With the ever changing world that we live in, new concepts and business applications need to become more efficient, interactive, and accessible. Including the ever changing market of mobile devices.
At www.employeesuggestionbox.com, the employee can give input on any topic, vote on the latest issues, brainstorm and improve project collaboration.
Keeping clients in the loop is another important aspect of project management. The creators of www.myclientspot.com have considered this point. Their simple program allows for the client and the project team to view upcoming schedules, project status, hours worked, file sharing, calendar sharing, and collaboration with sub-contractors all on one site. However, This is a costly endeavor. There are better sites that are free.
Changes within the project are a common occurrence. The creators at www.jumptree.com have captured this theory. With projects stats and accountability sections, nothing goes undetected. It allows for top management of any task ,at any level.
When managing projects successfully, there is a need for organization. With www.project2manage.com you can accomplish this task. There are applications from milestones, messages and even to do lists. Throughout this research period, I have learned that everything eventually comes full circle. With that theory in mind I found www.projjex.com. not only does this site allow for collaboration, it focuses on key aspects of databases and brings together project management .
This application works off of your browser and can be sent to many mobile devices. Since it is all web based no need to download all the documents. Look at all the space that saves! In a previous post I commented on the software Fast track. To my amazement I received a nice comment and the latest version which is fast track schedule 9. So for the last few days I decided to see if I could incorporate it into my daily business life. Without a doubt the gurus at AEC Software have hit a home-run.
The expansion of this software has made it even more idiot proof. Anyone who is familiar with Microsoft projects can use this. The creators have cleverly integrated the systems. This way with a click or two of a button everything is uploaded into the fast track system. It excepts files in four formats MPP, MPT,XML and MPX. Pretty exciting.
Another new and improved feature, automation of the project schedule. Using a filter and sorting tools schedules can be automated in minutes. These schedules can be published to the web and kept in real time. All in a professional format.
Consolidation of projects is huge were I work. With this software I can divide and conquer. I can see were every team is on every item. This saves valuable time and money. Along with this goes the control of the schedule with four easy to use options. These options are really normal but I have never seen them broke down in such an easy format. They include finish to start, finish to finish, start to start and of course start to finish.
I have not had to a chance to dig into all the new aspects but I am looking forward to it!
